Crying Wolf, the Movie
I am pleased to announce that the movie entitled, Crying Wolf, is now available. This movie produced by J.D. King, an independent film maker, has an interview of me discussing the relationship between humans and the natural world, with an emphasis on wildlife.
Crying Wolf is a documentary on the controversy and impact surrounding the Federal Government’s decision to release wolves in Yellowstone National Park and its overall wolf policy elsewhere. Though only an hour long, it provides superb insight into the challenges facing livestock farmers who are trying to survive (i.e. make a living) in a land with federally protected predators (the wolves) who are eating their calves.
Whatever your view, you will not be unmoved by this important movie that gives voice to the overlooked concerns of the ranchers in the American West.
Stephen M. Vantassel is a specialist in wildlife damage management. He has no financial interest in this movie.
