Vantassel, host of Living the Wild Life Podcast, interviews Jordi Segers, Coordinator of the White-nose Syndrome Program in Canada. We discuss the state of white-nose syndrome in
Canada, its spread, and impact on bats. Mr. Segers also summarizes his recent publication of a report on other threats to bats taken from veterinary records etc. in Canada. Seger’s point was, WNS isn’t the only threat to bats. And since we cannot do much about WNS now, we must work to reduce other threats to bats in order to help protect bats from extinction or extirpation.
